@Bruce:
Sorry, can't give you an actual reference but I've seen several photos of BEF soldiers with that camo in a magazine here in Grmany. One of it was of a unit which mascot were some capuchin monkeys or the like.

Edit. Fojnd it:

Very nice once again.

The monkeys are fascinating. Troops brought back from India I wonder...
Wonder if the monkeys were evacuated at Dunkirk?
What a great idea for a game scenario  :D

So the question is, are you going to give one of your Tommies a pet monkey?  ;)

More wonderful stuff!

All the detailing is so crisp, with the insignia and piping picked out so well!

What's that last pilot character from? Is he a Warlord fig too?

@Captain Blood:
At least I'm tempted to  ;D

@FramFramson:
Yep, he's Warlord.

And here's the 3rd section of Tommies:

Nice work, but what´s wrong with the noses? They look like set together from different pieces.

@Finisterrae: I'm afraid I think it's my painting style that makes the noses look that way...

Nonetheless...
my BEF is done... for now  :D

Unfortunately I'm still about 120 points short compared with my Germans but there's not much left in the Bolt Action BEF list to enlarge the force without having to add a second platoon.

More pics on the Blog...

A splendid pair of forces.  I love the way you make drab colours seem so vivid and forceful.
