I introduced a rule that no wounded figs must be left on the field by Imperial force,  1 operative fig for each wounded fig, movement halved.
those left on the ground will be ...cut by women.

Thanks for that write-up oxiana, I was genuinely curious about what Pathan women looked like historically, as I was a bit doubtful about the whole burqa thing.

I can't remember the source, but I read that Brit colonial era troops on the frontier commented that they would never see rural women, even in the villages, as they were all kept indoors.

Also, apart from cutting up the wounded, prisoners would be handed over to them.

Hi Hammers,

Apart from the medics etc, Sword in the Flame has advent cards in providing a little flavour to the game. Whether its NWF, Zulu war etc, it wouldn't take much to write up a number of advent cards to incorporate into your game.

Pack mules run away -No resupply of ammo for this turn. Canteen empty - shooting/melee at minus one, morale test minus one for this turn. Pathan women vengence - all wounded incurred this round are now dead.

Just a thought!

Helen

Best wishes,
Helen

Sound good, Helen, thanks! A bit more balanced perhaps than having a band of deranged women roaming the board.
