yeah, I'm not backing it mainly on this principle - far too incomplete.

I very much agree.

Ill propably get the printed book when it happens, since I like having physical copies of things, though. The thing is that  I find there to be way too much talk of supplements and additions, and very little actual rules. That said, the game as it stands IS pretty fun, I just find that it is the most suited to historical skirmish or "human-sized" fantasy, which is a shame sine I like my big guys :P

(On another note, I was even able to teach my rules-adverse girlfriend to play it - so thats a positive note.)

EDIT: I still need to do my own write-up, but I want to add that my biggest problem with the rules is the bookkeeping. I'd be very much interested in hearing how you guys have got around that?

We didn't find it to be very difficult.  Just a matter of subtracting from the various totals.  We had very little time to try and regenerate so it was mostly subtraction

this is a very informative review,... and I have to agree that the minis and terrain on those pictures are INSANE....

would love to see more skirmish reports with any set of rules and those minis...

Thanks!
Though I should mention that while the whole club contributes content, PatrickWR should get notable credit for editing and updating the blog.  We would seem far less literate without his corrections and improvements.
