Aren't we supposed to do this for fun? Do you have any time to PLAY a game with this schedule?  ;)

This is fun for me.

I haven't had a game since... August maybe. Can't quite recall, don't really miss it.

And before you ask: Most of the minis I'm painting now will probably never be fielded in a game. Though this is not different from most of my other 4000+ painted minis.

Don't get me wrong: I'm NOT a display painter. And I do like a good game -- I just don't have a need to fill time with mediocre ones.

500 15 mm figures in a month in assembly line fashion is very doable.  Been there a few times.  Basing - use cardboard strips and white glue, best method, easy removal!  Go for it!  You will do this!  Or answer to...yourself, the harshest critic you will ever face.   >:D

Go Man Go!!! I'm rooting for you!

My personal best was about 1005 in one year.  500 in a month is Hall-of-Fame status!

I am open to suggestions about rules for modern micro armor.

I have Cold War Commander, and while I like them on principle, the actual implementation leaves something to be desired. However, that is the general complexity level I'm looking for.

Thanks.

I rationalized the 15mm basing process and got the first platoon basing started last night (the gunk takes overnight to dry).

I'll write up a short tutorial on it when I have a bit of time.

Ok, here's the tutorial:

As usual, the pics are lagging behind due glue drying times. I'll take more pics tonight.

I think I haven't painted 300 minis during my whole hobby history...  :?

It seems that 500 is no biggie for you at all :)
