New samurai sculpts
« on: 05 December 2014, 10:14:16 PM »
Nothing too exciting this time, some infantry, that can be used as standard bearers, or ashigauru and poor samurai depending on the heads selected. These will come with the kickstarter.
More in a week or so...

Thanks, I suppose I just find the daimyo the more interesting, now I'm working on a figure I find much more exciting...Kato kiyomasa

Brilliant stuff
Just been on your blog Steel Fist, all the images are disabled on the painting tutorial. Will they reappear at some stage?

Understated and beautiful figures that represent a more regular Samurai warrior.  THE CID.

Thanks again, I'm aware that my range is lacking in more regular types like teppo ashigaru and archers, these will be gradually added. Also
They all look like samurai due to the daisho...
All samurai and ashigaru wore the daisho, as it was the mark of the warrior class, so pretty much all my range will be equipped this way. But sometimes non warrior class men were in the armies as labourers or great standard bearers. These men could be given one sword for dignity.
Brilliant stuff

I'm afraid it's not working at the moment, I may do another tutorial to replace it when things are more quiet.
