The Prof starts a thread about early 2000s, Inquisitorial 28mm models!  It must be Xmas!

I only just found this thread, its 100% right up my street :D

The original female Inquisitor and the Peasant Crusader are my favourites here so far I think, but the thread is jam packed with beautiful models.  Great work all over.

The Inquisitorial range released in 2003 (or so) for the Daemon and Witch Hunters books is one of the best 40k ranges ever in my opinion: they were instant classics upon release.  The range sums up the setting in miniature pretty much perfectly.  With the possible exception of the Adeptus Mechanicus, nothing says "40k" like Inquisitors do.

I am delighted to be able to watch your take on the subject over the next while :)

Are you gaming with these Prof?  I have been having lots of fun this year using Pulp Alley to game small Inquisitorial skirmishes.

Thanks for the kind comments, Cheetor :)

seconded, I like both and this thread will be getting some AM stuff as well at some point.

Not yet, just collecting and painting. Still thinking about possible rules or settings. There are a few options like Necromunda, WH40K 2.ed, Inquisitor and so on. Admittedly, never thought of Pulp Alley as a possible rule set for that kind of stuff :)

You and me both.  My Radical Ordo Malleus needs tech support.

I am a bit of a zealot about Pulp Alley at this point, so rather than yet again go on about how great I think it is I will just point you towards an inquisitor vs orks vs ratlings vs genestealer cult Pulp Alley game on a Deathworld that my gaming group ran at a convention last summer.  Take a look if you are interested.

Regardless, I am looking forward to seeing this thread progress.

Need more peasants. Shlubs with high morale and poor combat ability.

I did, very impressive! Lovely terrain, great figures and the game looks like a fun.

Well, I also would like to get some more "peasants" for this crusade. Got some ideas regarding a few of the Bruegelburg miniatures.

The texture on the metal is outstanding. Beautiful work!  :-*

Thanks, David!

On the first day of the new year we want to point the way. A new conversion (almost finished) of a Nurgle preacher based on a Mordheim Nurgle carnival figure.

That's a top class conversion and a really promising start to the year. I can't wait to see it painted.

Thank you! It's all GW colors, Mephiston Red, Blood Red, Evil Sunz Skarlet, and a mix of them in between.

An acolyte today, a very lovely miniature, though I probably like all the miniatures reading books. And he's wearing glasses! An intellectual :)

He's supposed to support the efforts of Lord Coteaz on his crusade through the know and unknown world.

Well he seems to be smart enough to be taking the time to read the manual for his new flamethrower/religious icon at least...

Thats a very interesting and characterful looking group.
