Looking for High Noon rules
« on: September 10, 2008, 07:15:51 PM »
At Historicon this year, my son and I played in a really fun game; the rules were High Noon.

Does anyone have the contact information to purchase the game? They had run out of copies at the con, and my followup has failed.

Thanks. Bengalis, imo, really need to try out this set.

High Noon was created by Leo Walsh. I dont know if the above info is directly to him or not. Should be good enough link for you. If not let me know. :-)

Thanks, I'll try it. Leo ran the game; it was a great time.

Yep, Leo always puts on a great game indeed. Always sets up those huge tables where only a small portion ever gets used. :-)

We actually made it around 20 feet down the table before the Gringos had convincingly wacked us. I loved the piece they made that's like a canyon you put between two tables.

No reply from the above link. Guess I will have to figure this out another way; if anyone has Leo's email addy that would be great.

Major "D"

Boy you just hate those rules where I shuffle the movement cards.

And then drop yours under the table.

So you have to go into the house and talk with Col. Winky's wife for twelve hours before we find the missing card and let you move again.

Regards,
Major Weenie

BTW I found an actual email addy for Leo Walsh; hopefully it's still valid.

Finally reached Leo; he says they are plumb out of copies but it's going into reprint shortly. :)

And Maj. Weenie -- it's not so much the cards as it is the problem of multiple characters and not being able to actually do anything for long periods of time. When Lft. LeBouef ran our recent games at Stately Denny Manor, we had ONE character each and it worked wonderfully; we got through 4 games in around 2 hours which was great fun.

Since we're trying again this Friday, hopefully with only two characters a piece, perhaps we'll see a return to sanity. Not that I'm bitter.

Maj Dis,

Remember to get a set an extra set or cards or two. It is what i did. Worth the extra couple of bucks.

Also, Fall In is coming up soon. If you dont get a set by then let me know. I will look at the con and FM tables for ya. Buy em and send em off to ya for what i pay on both the rules and shipping. And i mean a retail set for retail prices. Nothing exploded on price. The con is Nov 7-9 so let me know. :-)
