It's time for the short stuff!
« on: 31 December 2014, 06:25:42 AM »
In my mad bid to paint 500 miniatures in a month, I finished with some Chronopia Dwarfs.

Why? Because they were there. And because 2015 will be the year of... oopsie, I almost let it slip.

Setting a goal, whether easily achieved or nearly impossible, AND then reaching it is quite an accomplishment. CONGRATULATIONS on pulling off the impossible! Doing it without burning out is EVEN MORE IMPRESSIVE!
The Lads do look SPLENDID. VERY WELL DONE!

Thanks.

Here are the final few for 2014, Miss Piggy's Finest:

Ironically, these last dwarfs are the only figures out of 500+ too tall to fit in the storage box...

January batch done!

More blood bones:

These were pretty fun to do, actually. Maybe I'll paint the rest of my dwarfs before moving onto something else. Or maybe the orcs should get some love first?

Excellent!  I had to laugh at dwarves being too tall for anything.
This is my boomstick!

They hold their axes really high to compensate...

Now with round killing things!

So that's a big bunch of Dark-Star Warriors, some Vulture mallet guys, a flamethrower team (because dwarf!) and a few characters. Unfortunately some of these had a bit sub-par casting quality.

I think I'll be doing some pansies next... though I still have unpainted stunties too.

That is VERY IMPRESSIVE & not just in numbers; i.e., there are some pretty nice looking pieces in there. GREAT WORK!

The final batch is here! Well, almost final anyway, I probably have a few leftovers hiding somewhere...

Note how atrocious the fit of the spear is on the bareheaded figure... Did anyone test build these models? Or did I get the wrong set of parts? Was I supposed to drill a hole through the beard to get the spear shaft to fit? Oh well, whatever...

In case you were wondering, this is what my Chronopia collection looks like so far:

Next month... something else. Don't know yet.
