WH40K Deathstorm Play Through
« on: January 03, 2015, 10:18:55 AM »
Hello,

Before Christmas my friend Matt and I played through the three scenarios in the new Deathstorm box set from GW. It was loads of fun, and very scarey for the Blood Angel player.

Here are the battle reports:

I hope you enjoy them!

First of all, once again a very nice set of battle reports!

Secondly, you should be charging GW for marketing!  I had been wondering about this set, as it works out at about 40% of the price of buying the models individually (plus a rulebook), but couldn't find a really good description of the contents and scenarios anywhere.  You've solved that - thanks!

Is this a new game, or is it just the latest quick-start box for 40K?  They have historically been fantastic deals (one of the things which actually drove me from GW, lol - proving they could provide cost-effective battle-forces but simply don't).  What gen is 40K on now?

Thank you Gentlemen. Here to serve.

I am not sure anyone would pay me for my advertising skills and may want me to finish the models, not proxy in a Dreadnought and take better photos.

But anyway the set was a great little starter and comes with the A5 Rulebook (which is all you need) and the discount in the box is a big plus. You also get two special edition models (one for each army).

It supplies the start of two armies and as a stand alone a great evening of gaming and weeks of painting material.

Elbows I believe we are on 40k number 7 but I could be wrong! And I think I have even played each one.

Anyway glad you liked it and thanks for stopping by my blog.

Take care

Stevo
