More Weirdness from What The?! Miniatures
« on: 12 September 2008, 05:39:45 AM »
I've been talking with Chris Kirby and Alan Robinson who are the creative team behind the hit Weird WWII comic "The Lost Squad" and it looks like we will be doing some official Lost Squad miniatures in the near future.  Were still in the early stages of the project but I just wanted you guys know what's in the works.  As soon as I have more info I will let you all know.  Be sure to pick up the Lost Squad TPB and get into the Weird War II mood.  They have also signed a movie deal with Rouge Pictures to do a movie of this crew so keep you eyes peeled, maybe we can shake off the damage that SS Doomtrooper caused the genera. :D

Keep it weird,
Brian

"Peace" is that brief, glorious moment in history when everybody stands around reloading.

the cover from BPRD 1946 #1 (with offending image blanked out) ;)

Blurb;"In the wake of the second world war, Professor Trevor Bruttenholm-occult investigator and guardian of the infant Hellboy-founded the Bureau for Paranormal Research and Defense to investigate and defuse the remains of the Axis's sophisticated occult warfare projects and potential Soviet threats. Now, outfitted with a small band of war-weary Allied soldiers, Bruttenholm begins to unravel the mystery of the Nazi Occult Bureau's greatest and most threatening initiatives: Project Vampir Sturm."

project vampir sturm... oh come on, i can't be the only one excited about this can i?

The blanked one is okay. On "why the No Swastikas-rule": check here

Please check pages two and three in particular, where Lowtardog and myself elaborate on the problems of displaying swastikas in a German forum.
