Couple of uniform questions as we head off up the Khyber Pass!

The colour of NCO rank chevrons for the Black Watch, Foot Guards, Rifles and County Regiments... anybody help with 'em on both khaki and blue jackets, and were Cavalry chevrons the same?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It depends.
Rifles were black obviously. I've seen white and yellow/gold for line and Guard regts. I think it may depend on how close were are to the transition from red to khaki.
Not sure about the donkey wallopers. I'd assume the same.

The pic is I think trying to show the yellow/gold chevrons on a red backing from the home service scarlet uniform being sewn on the khaki tunics.
