My First Broadsword Adventures Figs
« on: 16 September 2008, 04:15:33 PM »
These are Eureka Miniature's Frogmen:-

I was tempted to do them as brightly coloured "Poison Dart Frogs" but in the end decided to draw inspiration from the bog-standard British Common Frog. I'm not sure about their eyes. Even though frogs seem to have horizontal pupils, I'm not sure that it looks right.

Comments welcome.

I don't know whether to be a good example or a horrible warning.

They are sooooo cute!  :-*

I'll bet they are pretty deadly, though.  lol

They might work in Cthulhu games, too.

Now, there's a question! Well, some will be human but more than that I haven't really decided as yet. It all depends how the muse tales me.

Sweet stuff. How do these critters rank in terms of scale compared to other 28mm stuff?

Don't be so sure... just offer them some cigarettes and let's see what's happen!  lol

I'm curious about that too! I was thinking of ordering some a while ago just for the fun of painting them. Side by side pics with some regular minis would be great.  ;)
A CANADIAN local hobby store with a small selection of historical wargames miniatures (mainly from Warlords). They also have a great selection of paint and hobby accessories from Vallejo, Army painter, AK Interactive, Green Stuff World and more.; https://tistaminis.com/

Here is one of the frogs between an undercoated GW skeleton (current version) and a Reaper Barbarian.

As you can see, he's a bit smaller but I've always regarded frogs as smaller than humans.

Thanks for the photo. They are far bigger than I thought, which is good! 8)
