A grand spectacular. Well done chaps. Was it Kev who got his aliens squashed by the choo-choo?

Yes indeed, I claim the dubious honour of earning the first Martian Darwin Award!  :D

Were you not entertained?!?

The British line held the walls against the Martian threat. When said Martian threat wasn't forthcoming they moved out to support the Japanese. Unfortunately the Japanese commander had chosen to place his camp on the far side of a canal... With no bridge...

The British 'taking an interest' resulted in wiping out three full Martian groups. More than the Japanese managed.

 lol

Ooo, get you  ;D

That was quite an entertaining moment, even from the perspective of our neighbouring 1455 battlefield  ;)

Stunning game!
Couple that with the baked beans and chips that you had and I bet Bullshott had a fun time driving back with you in the car.
     :o :o

lol

Does the pub still have that lovely light ale on tap?

So who was the anti-social Japanese army commander then?

As a result of this, the Japanese will be the first nation to be awarded NEGATIVE fieldcraft ratings - for camping outside the city walls with a canal between them and reinforcements/sanctuary behind the city walls  lol

Spiffing game - highlights for me were:

    ...
    • The overall look of the game - James's terrain is superb and the table looks great.
    ...

Especially after watching it built all these years...  lol

I particularly love the trestle to nowhere. Very evocative; here's hoping the points are properly locked down.  lol lol

Thanks! Ever so jealous! Of anyone playing a full game, as it turns out.

Well up to your usual standards! I enjoyed working through those pictures and following the unfolding game.
