France 1544

Being a project performed with all special effects concerning the invasion of France by our fair Henry, VIII of that name, to challenge the most unfair and foul Francis, I of that name, in the year of Grace 1544.

To be comprised of two formations, the English and their attendant mercenaries and hirelings, and ye French, after their cuftom, formed in accord with the rules and articles of ‘Lion Rampant’ (or if this not suffice, then Ye Sharpe Practife, after the manner of Silver Whistle Pursuviant).

To be ready for public display  when Master Peter of the TAG metal casters may be ready and Master Cromwell haf exacted the necessary revenues.

I've painted quite a few of these just lately, they deserve more exposure as they are lovely sculpts and the period seems to be well covered by TAG. Nice livery red, white and green coats good Welsh colours
