How very dare you!!  ;)

Of course I don't mind mate, I'll change the thread title to include you.  :D

That's really nice paintwork. I love that version of the Imperial Guard. The Cadian arms work a treat. More please.  :D

The guardsman is great.  The arms look like they belong, thanks to your editing.

Hey Ray,

Can you move in with me & paint up all of my RT stuff up? I can pay you in "special favours"  :D

As others have already said, the paint job on his face is great! You've really bought him to life. Seriously, that's "the" best RT Space marine paint job on a face I've ever seen.

Well done!

The future is dark. Dark like a Dark Angel in black armour.  ;)

One of my projects for this year is to revisit some of the figures that first got me into miniature wargaming 30 odd years ago. Some I've managed to acquire, some have been stripped. I have about 2 tactical squads, a dreadnought, 2 rhinos and some characters to sort out. Fortunately I'm not intending to replicate the dodgy Humbrol paint jobs!  ;)

First up is a bit of a test piece for my marines (still awaiting a backpack), a Dark Angels captain;

As its a side project there will be sporadic updates as I get other stuff (not just marines) done.

A very fine pece of work, lovely painting. Especially the highlight in the pupil.

And Bibbly's contribution is nice too, those copplestone guardsmen are great, it's a shame there were never more poses.

A good beginning. Like the thread tite too  lol. Nice to see a nice black Dark angel with that stripe down the helmet.

I am a fan of those Copplestone guardsmen. Some might see the faffing about with plastic arms as a pain but i find it quite a pleasant way to pass the time. Just to confirm, Jimbibbly, you have 200 Copplestone guardsmen? That would be a sight to see. Or RT figueres in general?

Impressive painting on that RT marine. Looking forward to more :)
