Wonderful!! Great looking game and nice clear photos. Some nice scenery pieces in there. I especially like the terrain stand with the forked tree stump. Interesting piece. Thanks for posting.

I too have scads of Dixons and love them, especially the cavalry. Dixon was the first maker to really complete the ACW line with all of it's varied components. They had dead and wounded guys. And not just one pose either, but plenty of them. They had complete caissons and cannon teams with six horses!! Great stuff.

I also have a ton of the Dixon Alamo line. The best Mexicans, by far. No many poses but excellent sculpts.
Same with the AWI, which was a shame. The AWI line never took off like the ACW did.

The Old West was another big line that had loads of different poses. That one they went all out with.

I too am very fond of the Dixon ACW figures (and the F&IW line also).  I have painted and accumulated a large number of Dixon painted units. 

Dixon's range of ACW is unmatched in variety of figures.  More than one time now, I have been fortunate to buy the stock of more than one Dixon dealer/shop that closed at very reasonable prices.  As such,  even though all these  figures are organized into units, there are many, many bare lead figures for me to paint.

Your game photos are an inspiration for me to get painting again!  Thanks.

To demonstrate extent of my obsession with obtaining, painting and using legions of Dixon Figures, please look at these game descriptions and photos listed below on the LAF.  The F&IW and ACW, Pirates and some Wild West figure lines (and train) are included in my Dixon obsession.  I use them with some Foundry, Old Glory and Redoubt figures, but the vast majority are Dixons.
