Thanks for the Faith in my marketing skills.   :D

There should be a new site up by the end of the weekend, we've got someone working on a little more content.  And then we'll periodically update it (once a week we are thinking) until it launches.

I took the first 15 pages to a couple local print shops and got some quotes on what the book will cost to get printed, so we are clipping along at a decent pace I think.

Once the book has been finalized and is ready to go to the printers, we'll start taking pre-orders from everyone, though we (I say we, when it's mostly just Mike, with me helping him shape his ideas, and focus them) still need to decide on packaging.  For the LE pre-order we are thinking a book, set of models and deck of cards, or maybe just the book and cards.

What would you guys like to see?  Full set?  Just book?  Book and cards?

Personally I'd like the book and cards initially. I'll buy the figures at some point, but not sure if I can afford them at present. It all really depends on pricing........

Depending on price, I'd be interested in a full set. Book, Cards, Figs.

Keep us informed! Cool looking pic. And I have just a friend in mind who is so much into Cthulhu that I'm thinking about getting him something like this for his birthday.

Like others here I'm interested in seeing more info about the game.

If I could ask a couple of questions they'd be:

Is there a set era the game will be played in i.e. 1920's or can the rules be applied to any era, modern, ancient etc.

Are the rules points based ( army vs army so to speak) or will the game be scenario driven?

cheers  ;)

The game is set in the 1920's...that is to say the weapons are period weapons. Civil war sabres, bolt-action rifles, tommy guns...that sort of thing. It would be quite easy to set it 50 years ahead, or back in time without really changing any of the rules other than limiting some weapons for historical accuracy. That said...you will be fighting eldritch beasts, the undead, daemons, drug-craised cultists...so, historical accuracy isn't really the name of the game.

It is a points based system...but not exactly like any others I know of. The goodguys have a rolling experience sort of thing and access to point based weapons...the badguys build lists based on the goodguys total and have a whole lot of stuff to ensure a bad day for our heroes. Hope to get a couple 'preview pages' on the website in the comming weeks...

This is looking better and better! Of course, you guys live out in Sasquatch and Wendigo territory, so it's not totally surprising! Go, Canada!
I'm enjoying re-reading most of HPL's stuff at the moment, I got the 'Call of Cthulhu' DVD collection from the HPLHS recently and thoroughly enjoyed it and I'm awaiting the arrival, any day now, of my Miskatonic Antarctic Expedition patches from Postnomicon.  It's really a good time for HPL fans at the moment! Plenty more neat stuff out there, too, all of it whispering in my ear, 'Buy me!'
Why take Life seriously? You'll never get out of it alive!
