Making Roads

Hi!

I'm sure it's been done before, but I haven't read about it yet: making roads using the 'mat technique', that is slathering acrylic mass unto a piece of cloth. Well, I tried it and it worked a treat. The results also look nice, if I say so:



This of course opens lots of possibilities… I've already started to make wood bases and plan to make a beach section.

Any problems with them curling up?

No problems at all with curling or wrapping. The are very flexible, quite similar to the latex roads I bought some time ago.
