Army Painter primer spray hides detail

I had just started painting some Perry’s DAK that I had base coated with Army Painter primer spray when I realised it has hidden a lot of detail, I have never had this problem with the Evil Empires spray primers. 

My question is can I use Fairy power spray to strip them and if I have used citadel plastic glue are they likely to remain intact or break into constituent parts?
