Just came home from watching it. A rather straight yarn, very pretty imagery, some rather fun scenes and decent use of witty dialogue. 1960s' Berlin looks very convincing. Very nice toys including a convincing Wessex and some CGI (I assume) Sea Vixens, if I'm not mistaken.

Not too fond of the, at many times, hectic camera work. It clashes too much with the retro aesthetics - I would have preferred an overall pacing akin to the old Bond movies.

Still, very inspiring, with a distinct 7TV flavour to it.

Westfalia has nailed the review so I won't bother to echo the same opinions, however, I'd add that it was refreshing that odds against the three heroes didn't feel stupidly impossible as has become the norm nowadays it seems.

Possibly it might have done better if ... actually no, that's a spoiler :-)

I saw it a while ago too and thoroughly enjoyed it.

Weird thing is, I had to watch the subtitled version, for the hard of hearing, as that was the only one on at the time I could make.
I thought that it may ruin the film but it actually helped as sometimes I dont catch what is said when the sound is too loud at the cinema.
