Well, my youngest was ill yesterday, so we ended up watching movies all day.

But today I finished the hornblower, and another two warriors are ready for leding.

I've been delayed by my kids' Winter Break from school (and my wife is also taking vacation this week), no painting progress at the moment.

Often happens when all Family is home at the same time, so not all that surprising.
I am also slowly starting up at Work Again, so fewer full days for painting from now on. I sincerely doubt that I shall have a full 6 points ready in time for March 11th.

So, after almost a week of idleness, I am going to paint again, tomorrow. The kids will be in school, and the wife at work, and I have the first half of the week off, so I should probably be able to finish the two command models I have WIP, and start painting the fourth point of warriors, before going to work Wednesday night.

Then, Friday or so, I should be able to get a bit more hobby-time, but I shall probably not be able to finish a full point of warriors until after next weekend, but we shall see...

I really like the GB plastic Vikings, fun models.  I do find it much easier to paint them without the shields on, but that's me.

Yes, it can be a bit fiddly with the shields on, for sure.

Regarding shields - I may have found the solution to LBMS transfers going 'stale': Heat!

I used a hair-dryer on two transfers from which at first I could not remove the protective film, add it actually worked!

Regarding the Agrax Earthshade wash: Be aware that it comes in a matt, as well as a gloss version (as do a few other of GW's washes). The gloss versions apparently are for shading metals. The matt version is the 'normal' one, while the gloss version has the word 'Gloss' on the pot.

Same here - I picked one of the newer 'tall' pots in the store without thought, and after seeing there are two versions was delighted to find that I had picked the 'normal' one!  lol

Looking good, the lines in the horn have come out well, is a nice detail.

Thanks, I have experimented a bit with that - takes a bit extra time, but I also like the effect.

Here's a line-up of the 3 points of warriors:
