Power Legion: Rumble in Gotham
« on: March 04, 2015, 06:25:04 PM »
Had our second go with Power Legion last week.  This time the setting was Gotham which gave me a chance to break out my recently painted cops and newly completed urban buildings as the dynamic duo tangled with some classic baddies.   The full Batrep is here: link
The pics are a bit low-fi as I couldn't find my proper camera, but I assure you the full batrep is worth checking out.

We're still working on ways to balance the heroes so armor isn't so dominating, but overall Power Legion has proved to be a very enjoyable ruleset so far.

"BAT-Rep", Perfect!  Wish I'd thought of that!
Clayface flipped over the Caravan that Batman was on top of, but Batman was able to leap off in time.

Very nice terrain and Bat-Rep, I enjoyed that. I have the ruleset and have played an enjoyable solo game. My personal opinion (have glanced at the dinahcatofdanger's Stats of various heroes), is that WHY give Batman more than d4 armour? I am certainly not seeing his suit as more than Kevlar/ impact plated, good enough to take the edge of a handgun bullet or two but not withstanding extreme firepower/ pummeling. I also think that if I stated up Batman, my version would be very different, but each to their own.
The most important thing in the hobby is that you're having FUN! Doesn't matter if you win or lose.
