Human skulls and animal / human bones...
« on: March 09, 2015, 10:18:55 AM »
Anyone know where I can get hold of a few? 28mm scale. For a terrain project that will require a few loose scatterings of remains...  ;D

Lots of options, but I like these two:
Tabletop Art
Runecast

Just a thought what about a sprue of the old GW plastic skeletons?

You can chop them up as you see fit and scatter them about. From memory the armour was all separate so there would not be much converting to do...

If you type in '28mm bag of skulls' you have a fair range to buy from mate! There seems to be a lot of people out there to cater for tge lack of skulls GW have on their figs! ;)

Curse that failing memory.  :'(
I was recently viewing a site where they sold a sprue with separate bones and a skull (both human and animal IIRC), but don't ask me whose site it was...

*edit*
Found it : it's Fenris, but it appears there are only dinosaur bones and skulls to be found.
as said : that memory... ::)

Thanks everybody.

'Skullz' I can do without. Brrrrrrr...

Just after a few skulls and loose bones like you might find at the back of a Stone Age cave inhabited by, say, a sabretooth tiger...  ;)

I could do them out of Green Stuff, but the Tbaletop Art and Runecast ones look rather good...

Richard: I have some sprues from the original GW skellies....

http://www.solegends.com/citboxes/skeletonhorde.htm

No armour on those and you can chop to your hearts content.

I shall pop one in the post tomorrow.
 ;)

Secret Weapon has a few dis-articulated skeletons, bags of skulls, dismembered bodies, and other things of the type that work.

And received. Thanks again. Should probably see me through what I need with a bit of judicious dis-articulation  ;)
