Looking for wargamers in Missouri
« on: 13 March 2015, 04:17:12 PM »
I have recently relocated to the state of Missouri after being stationed in England for 3 years. I am located between Warrensburg and Sadeliea. I play mostly historical games but do have some minis for post Apocalypse, MERCS, and 40K.
I have apposing armies for MERCS, WWI, Vietnam, SAGA, and Force on Force so even if you have nothing I have enough stuff to play a few different games.
PM me if interested in gaming.

Racm32,

If you've not found it yet, when you get the chance to head over to KC, make sure to stop at TableTop Game and Hobby. It's a good place to pick up new goodies and they've usually got something going on game wise. Coming up on International Table Top Day, April 11, the owner, Phil, usually has lots of deals going, and the place is packed with folks gaming. Usually you just need to ask to get in on a game.

Also, coming up this fall, be sure to check out Recruits, a 2 day Con, in Lee's Summit.

I'm not in Missouri but get down a few times a year to game. Definitely go to recruits in the fall. Border wars is the first weekend of May and is in KC. It's pretty small but it may allow you to connect with a gaming group. The DBA group there is a particularly good group of guys.

Looks like I'm about three hours from you, I live in the Northeast tip of Kansas.

Recruits is a great convention.
a mixture of quick parts, sarcastic humour, reserve, and caprice.

Welcome to the Midwest! The Kansas City area has a great gaming community. You can always put out feelers on the area Facebook pages like MOKAN Miniature Painters or just search for MOKAN and you will get several hobby related pages for the Kansas City area. Table Top Games in Overland Park, KS is a must. There are several games at Recruits this fall and it would be a great way to get in contact with historical area gamers. I know that there is a gaming store in Warrensburg, but I do not know exactly what the gaming meta is.

Like Matt (Dr Mathias), I am also from the area in Lees Summit, MO. Welcome to the area!
