Gorgeous fantasy terrain kickstarter
« on: 14 March 2015, 12:26:39 AM »
Here is another kickstarter that I thought a lot of people might be interested in. It is by one of the artists of confrontation and the quality seems to be there as well as a good price!

I get an overwhelming feeling of "meh" looking at this one.  I immediately thought of Confrontation though when I saw the pieces, so it's definitely the same style.

There are some really nice looking pieces of scenery on this KS.Like Elbows says it does have a Confrontation look to it which is not a bad thing.

Apart from the featured Confrontation miniatures, I get no Confrontation vibe from these pieces at all.

They're nice enough I suppose, but they feel rather sterile for some reason. It may be the way they're painted, but to me they are almost as perfect and lifeless as the digital artwork.

So, not really for me, sorry...  :?

Miniatures you say? Well I too, like to live dangerously...

^Precisely how I feel.  I see some stuff that really just reminds me of generic foam GW terrain.  The Confrontation aspect to me was the paint style and the style of the painted minis.  The terrain looks rather underwhelming to me (though probably useful).

Nice looking stuff, but nothing a body can't make themselves for a few pennies.
