Wow!  :o
Vehicles from Gaming Models are... well, certainly not the best. But with your paintjobs they look fantastic!

thank you for your comments !

Gaming Models range is interesting because it offers a wide variety of cheap models, not necessary available (or not at these prices) in 15mm elsewhere !

Nice results, SH. :) They definitely look like they've been left out in all weather. :D

After a depressing amount of time, I "almost" finished my 80 or so russians.  i decided to post some pics to motivate me in the final line.

All together :

Pic of a painting group. Give a good idea of the detail, on the tabletop :

Some detailed pics :

Platoon officer, and NKVD officer :

Remaining "only" :   :(

helmet "straps"
weapon metal and wood
shovel metal
hair
basing
edit: Dumb am I, I also forgot that I also had add highlight details on 160 boots   o_o

I really hate uniform masspainting...It takes ages, even using fast painting technics (like not completly painting faces or hands, for instance), it's repetitive and boring...I decided to never play WW2 (or modern conventional) massbattle. Platoon size will be my limit for uniform forces. A big amount of zombies, d&d monsters or insurgents at least bring some variety during painting   :D

Finally, figures are painted, varnished, and (almost) based   ;D

Although I've been cursed again with varnish (to be honest, I botched it with quick brush job, resulting some bubles in hollows...Not very smart move, since it would have taken less time to just plug my airbrush, with a better and "more flat" result...Using it is still not an habit, I'm afraid   ::) ), I'm happy with the overall result.

Here's a few preview pics. I still have to finish the bases. I hope to 100% finish the figures until next week.

Those look really good. I will have to dig out my 15mm and have another look at this scale. I am interested in the Blitzkrieg rules you mentioned. Is there a link to them? I have searched but cannot find a reference to these French rules.

Almost done, I finished the bases, here's some sample pics :

I also made some grass  tufts, these are drying too !

As usual, nothing fancy concerning basing, just a clean generic job to work in any gaming surface.

Glorious...though always humbling when someone paints 15's better than I can paint 28's...(le sigh!)
