Greate that you like Jan's work so far.

As Jan are a Swede in UK exile Sins the last 20 years and lived outside London I guess he Will pack it up in his car and drive it to the excel arena  ;)
Would newer have been possible to run the game otherwise...

Best regards Michael

Looks interesting thus far Michael- I'm intrigued  8).

I'm going to be doing Hastings for The Lance and Longbow Society next year (assuming the rumours about Salute not taking place are not true!). Failing that Partizan or The Other Partizan.

Anyway, my point is that I was going to include a small burgh to give a sample of what an Anglo-Dane village might have looked like so I'll be watching your technique/s very caefully.

Darrell.

Wonderful undertaking from you two Michael!  :-*

Will you be using full 24 point lists for this? As the action takes place inside the town walls, it could get quite busy?

edit: I guess you guys already are familiar with this page about Storkyrkan and its building phases?

Glad that you like Jan´s effort !

The Storkyrka will be the one they called "Bykyrkan" made of stone that was built 1306.

We will not use full 24 point retinue. there will be 4 players and each of them will have A leader with 11 minis more minis divided in 2 units, would say they are arond 8-10 points each. This is because we will run it as a participation game and want each game to take about 30 minutes. It have worked fine during our test games so we have good hope for fast, bloody and entertaining games.
