Never understood that. I mean, they're archers not gymnasts. What did people expect? There's only so many poses you can have when loosing an arrow. If they had produced fairly static Celtic tribesmen then criticise away.

Yeah, I agree with this. This is the Hundred Years War, not Pelennor Fields.

I too am looking forward to the French set. I shot the Perrys an email back in January asking about it, and Alan said he hadn't started with it yet.

Really hope so. I wanted to have a chat about any potential Sudan releases such as the Army Medical staff plus transport etc.

Darrell.
While you are at it please ask them if they will consider some proper mounted infantry on Egyptian type mounts? I've been asking them if they would consider doing these for over two years now, and since you converted those camel corps so well I'd have thought they could pull something together at their end to save us having to buy all those Hussars and CC to convert half of them and discard the rest. Beja gatling crew would be good too  :D

Hope not as I've already converted some for the Second Battle of El Teb:

Exactly, such a release must happen just after you spent all that time and money converting your own  lol

Will anyone volunteer to be a correspondent at Salute for those of us who can't go?

Should be an exciting day for Perry fans!

Nice mix of weaponry there. Crossbow at the back too. A mix of these and pavisiers along with a smattering of MAA would be superb.  :D

Yep. Just back. Saw these. Very nice.

Also the first couple of 3-ups for a plastic British colonial infantry set suitable for everything from Zulu War and Afghanistan through to Sudan and Boer War. About time too :)

 :D

Now I wonder if these will be rushed through like the archers..?

They look excellent! I was hoping to see French cavalry too, but these are great nonetheless.

Fandabbydozy. :D Been anticipating these to finally do some Starks and Night's Watch and what-have-you, and I'm not disappointed. Not that I thought I would be...

Quite! I got a pic, very nice they look too:

Alan told me there will be two different sets. They will either be before or after the HYW French infantry, whichever is finished first. No ETA (as usual)

More Sudan metals would be awesome, but I forgot to ask :(
