Vidocq is a very characterfull of the 1st Empire, chief of a police department, working in the secret police of the emperor, the national security under the order of Fouché.

Very, very nice Eric!

One or two episodes of Vidocq are situated in Antwerp, so obviously I'm very interested.

Panic, Chaos and Disorder. My job here is done

Could be use as simple civilians of the period too of course.

And any one of them could be Vidocq, in disguise.

The story that always sticks in my mind is how, according to the Mémoires, Vidocq kept himself from freezing while observing a suspect's house on a winter's night by burying himself up to the neck in a dung heap.  So here's the link to Dr the Viking's dung heap tutorial:

Back from the dead, almost.

Some 2 new civilians/policemen for the period.

The bodies are Trent Miniatures and the heads are Plastic Warlord Miniatures from hanovrians sprue.

The handgun are musket conversion (see my blog for the "how to do it")

For the the left guy, the walking stick is a small flat head nail with a small superglue drop featuring a knob cane.

The cap look very frenchy if wore by a civilian like an "Apache" (Parisian bandit of the period)
