Supernatural Deathtrap - a Pulp Alley battle report
« on: 07 April 2015, 08:07:07 PM »
Here are some highlights from a scenario that was played as part of a Vice Alley campaign. It pits my Winchester Brothers (duo league) against Dr. Mortis and the Living Dead-Men.

We rolled the "Death Trap" scenario and Wiley won the initiative, so he decided to make my Leader the target....

Ooops, don't forget to load your shotgun before the shooting starts!

I've played this scenario enough to know that it's not a good idea to stay in one place, so my leader took off running and the living-dead shambled after him!  :D

Sam questions a newsy, "Where's my brother? Talk!"

Ruthless Dr. Mortis doesn't allow a flat-foot to interfere with his nefarious scheme!

Dean and Sam and a friendly bystander team up to fight the living dead-men.

The brothers make their escape before more zombies join the fray, but the friendly reporter is not so lucky!

Meanwhile, Cass quizzes one of the locals about the strange goings-on in the area.

With the brothers retreating, Dr. Mortis is distracted by the mysterious woman in red....

On the last turn of the game, a zombie goes for and completes an extremely perilous Plot Point - picking up a clue that was dropped by Sam!

We play lots more Pulp Alley games than I can actually post in battle reports, but I thought Dad got some good photos of this one. I hope you enjoyed it!

Another great looking game!!

Proper Pulp Hattification.

Smilin' faces, lovely places, splendid scenery & fabulous figures.

The Ultra-Inviso Bases work so  much better than the landscaped ones,
the difference is striking.

Absolutely!

Every time I see your Vice Alley set up, I think I must have one just the same. It just looks so good. Great report, keep wearing the hats!

Looks great Mia! Hopefully that's not a loaded Colt 45 on the table?  ;D

I really like that "park across the street" feel that you've added to the table. Very nice touch.

Your tables not only always look great, they look smart.  I don't game, but if I did I would want my game table to look like you put it together... just the right balance of great detail in terms of look and story and plenty of room for play.  My hat is once again off to your skill.  Richard

Ayup, it was really funny. We all expected the zombie to fail miserably, but it drew a peril and a plot point challenge that he could actually pass AND he passed both rolls.   ;)

Wiley (aka Dr. Mortis) said he was thinking about using an XP to upgrade that zombie as a reward.  lol lol

Nope, haven't seen Fido. We'll have to look for it.
