Bob's added a couple of members of the Istanbul Constabulary to his preview page.  Look good!  :-*

He that trades Liberty for Security will soon find that he has neither.

Second thoughts on the Istanbul constabulary:

.- I have tried to find some images for painting, but I couldnot. Does anyone have something? In some films [Hollywood style, ofcourse} I have seen some uniform with blue jacket and khaki trousers, I do not like very much.

.- If I remember well Kemal Ataturk abolished the fez around 1920+ , so they are a little earlier than Pulp, being of the Ottoman Empire.

However they look very nice models and I would not have any problems for using them in my future Pulp settings.

Good point. I seem to recall that the Turkish Constabulary wore something German styled head wear.

Great figures.
Is Bob using his Fu Manchu mind reading skills because they are just the type of figures I want for a setting I am making.
If I think hard enough do you think he would make some civilians for the same kind of setting? Shop keepers, market stall vendors, creepy Curiosity shop sales man, old Gypsy Palm reader etc.
When are they due out? does anybody know?

They are not yet out and Bob in his website says "No release date available"

I second all the rest. I would like to see: shopkeepers vendors etc both for Istanbul/Cairo?Middle East and China, too!

Damn.... another must have....

About the fezzes:

Well, maybe not historically correct for the main part of the interwar period, but nothing screams 'pulp turk' like a fez.

They could also be used as henchmen of an evil mastermind based in the Middle-East or the Balkans....
Ask at the LAF, and answer shall thy be given!

Just found a link on the midwar Egyptian police.
Nice fezzed policemen.

I wish that Bob Murch could sometime sculpt one on motorbike and a couple to mount some vintage car!

Here is the link, [alas in b/w so what colour for the uniforms?]:
