Seconded. Goes to show that pre-orders still work without all that Kickstarter nonsense.  ;)

Just seen the weapons rack freebie on the Nickstarter page and the weapon in the middle at the bottom has made me want to start a warband based on Krull.

Again....  :D
Lol, I noticed that too, and the Klingon weapon on the right. I wonder what the left one is in refer nice to?
Also just added to my order.

Can someone do another battle report and post it online so I can have something more to read, thanks :)

Me too :) Seriously, we are tempted by the first reports and would like to see how it goes on!

I've scoured every bit of web content I can find on Frostgrave as I'm more than a little hyped.

Goblin wizard and apprentice found and ordered:

Mantic

Willy Miniatures

I can't find anything on weapons though.  Does anybody know what marks the difference between knife/hand weapon/2-handed weapon and bow/crossbow?

Knowing what we do about the combat system and how it includes damage in the to-hit roll, I'm finding it hard to think where they would fit in.

I think certain henchmen have access to certain weapon options, that's how they are separated. I believe like the difference between a templar and knight was one had a shield and sword another had a double handed weapon. So some of things are just very minor changes or a +1 to a certain stat.

Archer and Crossbowman have identical stats so there must be something extra to warrant two listings!

Getting rather excited about this now.

Think I managed to blag a couple of Battlefield in a Box Gothic Ruins at a good price, which will go on the table with Pegasus ruins and a Ruins of Osgiliath (which has been in the wargaming pile for ages). If it needs more there is a Garden of Morr on the pile too.

And whilst I love the look of the Frostgrave Major Demon, I'm thinking of Black Tree's Azal the Daemon (3rd Dr Who) as it looks closer to the Imp and Minor Demon in design...

You know, i once had an idea for a tabletop skirmish campaign set in the world of runescape, using the quests from the game as the basis for the campaign story.
The problem?
I didn't have a rule set that mixed skirmish and magic with good story telling.
I just remembered the idea and now i think i can make it happen!

I hope you'll post the results here on LAF, as I'm interested how it will work out! :)
There are not many quests I remember though, mostly the Romeo and Juliet one  :D

I signed back in last summer ( i know, i didn't think runescape would keep all accounts open, but fair play to them they did!) and there are hundreds of new quests ,including a load of full campaign ones! but sadly ,romeo and Juliet is gone!

I think the demon slayer quest and the rune mysteries quests would be great.

Archer and Crossbowman have identical stats so there must be something extra to warrant two listings!

Crossbows offer increased damage, but need an action to reload. Bows offer a little less punch, but are much faster.

Great. So a separate purchase from my level five Frostgrave preorder and separate shipping fees.  And probably will never be carried by brigade games anyway, so a moot point. Wouldn't this have been a better stretch goal, or even add-ons, than the wallpapers?

Not a Frostgrave product (I would assume for the obvious reason), but someone on Facebook asked if they could be added to the Wizard orders and Nick said yes. First comment and replies:

Hello all.  I became VERY inspired this week to start putting together some frozen ruined urban terrain for Frostgrave.  The game looks like it will fill in my desire to have a Mordhiem type game.

My requirements for the terrain was three-fold:  1) it needed to be 'quick' to make, 2) affordable 3) easy to transport (light)  I was able to get all three requirements fulfilled.  I used foam core which was light and inexpensive, some pva glue, and some spray-paint- and Viola!  Lots of terrain built over a 5 day span.  Here are a couple of pics.  Its my first time posting some pictures- so lets hope that they appear...

That's some fantastic looking terrain! Perfect for the Frozen City. It looks suitably cramped and maze like already.

Thanks, I appreciate the nice comment.  Here is a picture of all the terrain I made on a white ground sheet.  I should have enough terrain now to do a 3' x 3' board. I am a nutter I know.  Now I just await the rules and miniatures.
