Looking for Winter War miniatures
« on: 13 April 2015, 08:41:58 PM »
I need some help of this experienced community. For an upcoming near future winter war project I'm looking for similar figures like the Copplestone Neo-Soviets and Partisan figures: winter equipment, not too high technology level, same scale.

Any suggestions?

Thanks for your help.

 :)

Have a look at the sss-range from Silent invader (http://www.miniaturemojo.co.uk/). I think he is the specialist for ice and snow.

Wargames Emporium Hazmat Clones (http://www.wargamesemporium.com/new/oscommerce-2.2rc2a/catalog/index.php?cPath=719_720&osCsid=e5d979f125c979ff927838949cb0019a)

has some nice ones and also Four a miniature (http://www.fouraminiatures.com/page2.htm).

Nice is also the range of Icestation Zebra Range from Regimental games, but they seem to be out of buisiness (http://theminiaturespage.com/boards/msg.mv?id=320240).

And last, but maybe not least, Pig Iron Miniatures (http://www.pig-iron-productions.com/), with brilliant service and nice miniatures.

Some of the gripping beast SciFi's are also useful.

I think it will be naughty, if I mention EM4's Spacelords to you. But I still like your miniatures and think with the right colour they are useful.

Maybe some of the Empress-Miniatures (chechen-range) could be useful (http://www.empressminiatures.com/userimages/procart41.htm)

Interesting. Their "Malformed Renegades" seem to be, oh I don't know... maybe some kind of hybrid of humans and aliens who steal genes?

If you think you could get away with it, WW2 Russians in winter gear could be mixed in -- 1st Corps' figures are large enough to match up very well with Copplestone's NeoSovs.
