So, after a little break I am back in the HYW plastic thing... :)

After the cool skirmishes in the last year I ll try to build a little multibase skirmish troope for the HYW. Plastic only:I want to take it to freinds or conventions and need something light weight, cause I travel by train... o_o

It will be losely based around Agincourt but not straight that battle. I find it rather boring from a wargaming point of view, sorry you english (and welsh)... lol
And I am not that interested in names and heraldy, so I ll take a more cartoony aproach: frenchy knights vs. rugged english longbowmen.

Something along this depth...:

I will try to get a multiplayer on the tracks with 4 players each controlling 5-6 units.

Here is the first batch: two units of french knights with one unit of crossbowmen.

I am a bit of starter with white armour, so I have to try a little more, to get that silver right...;)

Cheers,
Don

One of the best painted Perry medieval figures I've seen, with no doubt ! I really like the way you achieved a very difficult balance between bright strong tones (yellow, blue, white, red) but keeping a very realistic "historical" look and feel.

The faces are easy to "read" too, even from this far point of view. The bases are simple, but clean with polished details.

Great work.

Great looking figures Don - they look spot on for the armour and heraldic coats etc.

Fantastic work on the pavises, you've got that battleworn look  really well (the figures are really nice as well).

Great wood effect, I believe the unpainted pavises are plain smooth plastic, right ?
