Looking good already, that first setup seems ready for a market to spring up and get in the combatants way.

Beautiful! Each one of those pieces would look great on its own, but what really adds to the overall feel of the place is the cohesion between the pieces in terms of color, painting style, design, etc.

I may have written this in a different thread at one point or another, but when I was a kid I'd imagine how great it would be to have a town or city to have games in- well, 30+ years later I've accumulated plenty of buildings (probably around 20), but it's more like a patchwork quilt than a bunch of buildings that look like they actually go together. I'm not complaining- it's still a lot of fun and I'm happy with what I've got, but there's just something extra cool about seeing pieces that really go together well like that! Keep up the good work!
I have a YouTube and so can you!

Very nice setting.  Can't wait to see it fully populated.

Nice -- the buildings can be moved around?

What drives me nuts is setting up a good looking board than finding out that either it's no good for a fight, or that all the fighting happens in one small area!

"Playtest" a game or so as you go. Town looks good enough for a game!

Cheers all.
I hope to have a busy but useable board by the end of it, with lots of scenery/clutter(bags,barrels,carts,stalls)
My initial thoughts for the game are an 'Empire/town militia vs chaos types' using Westfalia and Eureka for the chaos and old GW/Wargames Atlantic/Frostgrave for the humans.

I've always wanted to do a waterfront like that. It's the logistics of how to raise the buildings (and the rest of the board) above water level that gets me. I want my buildings to be individually based and usable for a variety of games...  ??? ???
