Gripping Beast Revenants for Saga

couldn't see this posted anywhere else on the site so thought I'd mention it here.

Gripping Beast (who I am a Wholly Owned Subsidiary of) is releasing a Limited edition Revenants faction for Saga, info from the newsletter is that the box will contain-

48 x Revenant 28mm metal figures (plus a plastic base for each figure)
2 x metal Grave Pit models
Full colour 3 page Revenant faction rules & scenario (Exclusive to this box set)*
Full colour card Revenant Battle Board (Exclusive to this box set)*
PLUS 12 Revenant SAGA dice FREE
PLUS 1 x 28mm metal Necromancer on scenic base (only available in this box set) FREE
(* Rules and Battle Board will be available as a download-only once the limited set has sold out.)
 
SAGA: Revenants is a new Faction for the SAGA game system. It is for use with the main rules in the SAGA Dark Age Skirmishes or SAGA The Crescent & The Cross rulebooks. Please note that this faction is not part of the main SAGA canon and as such is not for tournament play.
It is designed to give you something different and fun to play between friends or at friendly club meetings. We hope you enjoy it!

I think they have plans to release the Revenants in blisters as well

I think they'll be going out to the usual distributors so you should be able to get them

Those would work well as Others for GoT-inspired stuff as well.  I will have to get some when they go to Wayland Games and I can get them post-free

the boxset is limited edition but the Revenants figures, more necromancers and the dice will be on sale going forward, the rules and BB will be available to download once the box sets are all gone

That does help, yes, however the skraelings were made available for a time and then disappeared before I had a chance to purchase any.  Any idea whether the blister pack sales are planned to be a permanent part of the range, or just until the mould wears out (like the Skraelings)

I spoke to Andy at GB yesterday and he did say the blisters and dice would remain on sale permanently and they were also thinking about adding some new necromancers as well

Saw this on sale for salute: glad to know they will be available outside the limited box: the zombies look very tasty indeed.
