Great work Björn and all.

Truly inspirational games coming from the LAFers!
Best wishes,
Helen

We had 3 games over the weekend with the report being the summary of the first two, and it was great fun + it taught us a lot about the games mechanisms.

Tweo of the games where linked szenarios as described in the report, the third was a pitched battle. To my surprise this one was a rather fast game with the republicans clearly the loosers, but it's been a great one, too, showing that T&T works as well with pitched battles as with scenarios.

PS:  I hope one day Björn will write of me as Maik (not Mike), perhaps if I say 'please'? ;)

I know you are particularly picky, but at least, he only misspelled your first name! Look at me! He called me Ernest and Papa, none of which is even remotely true and the latter a cruel jab at my ageist autumn depression! lol

Although I DO appreciate being associated to Mr. Hemingway, although he must be rolling over in his grave after reading this. ;)

PS: who makes those cows?

The standing brown and white cows and calf (which are mine) are metal miniatures by Hovels. The larger ones with less contrast are some plastic or resin ones Driscoles brought over, so I don´t know the manufacturer.

I think Mike sounds much cooler. But I will try hard to spell your name correctly Maik.
You dont have to say pls. Just curious...How did you make it through England Maik ?

Yep. At the security check at Stanstead my wallet fell out of the box, the security officer asked for the name. Before he figured how to speak it I spelled it for him and got it back  :D

Splendid report, it looks like T&T handles the SCW perfectly.

Libertad O Muerte is on my wish-list now, even though I don't really do 20thC games. One day though, especially with those lovely Anglian Minis.

There is a footballer called Maik Taylor, by the way. He's the Northern Ireland goalkeeper and the only other person I've ever seen who uses that spelling, so it shouldn't be a total surprise to people in Britain  ;)

the brave fighters of the libertarian revolution got kicked in the as three times this weekend.

but, well, it was the most entertaining way of being defeated.

anyway the revolutionaries want revenge...so hopfully there may come an occasion meet again.

by the way: the CNT comittee of casa blanca strongly protests because of his brave anarchist fighters beeing called "communists" many times in the report (they call this a emminent example of typical stalinist propaganda) ;-)

i really loved this weekend. greetings to all involved (and many thanks to hazel for table/ food/ shelter)
