I used two 4oz bottles of Didis magic ink mixed with a 12oz bottle of rubbing alchohol, staining the cut pieces before gluing, this eliminates the off color glue stains if brushed on afterwards.

I am still thinking of adding a dry brushed color effect.

Well color me impressed! 8) 8)

In regards to rules Muskets and Tomahawks is quite popular at the moment and This very ground is also a good system.

For Figures I personally prefer Redoubt and Galloping Major as they are large figures and quite characterful. However you are spoiled for choice and also have Northstar , Perry and Conquest all making very nice figures for the period. Probably some others I haven't mentioned as well.

The fort is very fine indeed. I contemplate doing the FIW and if I had my way I would do it 10mm and build some forts from scratch in wood, though I doubt I have what it takes to pull something like this off, even in 10mm, and because the 18mm Blue Moon range has associated buildings it has seemed more practical. It's nice to be reminded of the reaches of possibility in threads like this one, however! Again, wonderful project, good luck with the next!
