That is a fine paint job on a, frankly, quite ludicrous model.

You certainly made this one work, and that's truly something! The paintjob is amazing, you made it really pop up. I think that a spider version would improve the model (Come on, now you see it, get another one and replace those wheels for a mech-arachnid propulsion ;D)
Anyway, cracking work, I love it.

Cheers guys ! This one is not extremely well known nor popular as it comes from that dark period just prior to 2nd ed, along some rather poor Khorne berzerkers and Plaguemarines. Not exactly models to remember. It's a fun one though with plenty of opportunities in scenarios I think. Sometimes you just have to embrace the stupidity of it. ;)

Weird as hell - and wonderful!

Ah I remember that guy I'm sure he was released with three new Khorne chaos marines (below) at the time. Back when Chaos marine miniatures were  just starting to get the style that they have today and your choices were limited to one funky dreadnought, the Blood slaughter and one pose if each marine or the old rogue trader chaos renegades.

Yeah, those were quite something. There was also this range of half naked berzerkers with axes and some with bolters only. It' strue those started to define the rabbit ears kind of Khorne marines (displayed on the Blood Slaughterer).

Thanks to our excellent Mason (cheers man) I've had the oportunity to get my little hands on some models of the new Outlanders Kickstarter. I've used this opportunity to take a couple of models out of the context to make an imperial investigator :

Great model, I had another idea but went this way after thinking about a cool little backstory.
I'll surely paint the rest of the models as colonists as intended, that's the kind of setting I'd really like to have games in so as soon as I get my mats, I'll make myself some scenery and a proper colony of space settlers (many ideas for those).

More about those in the associated blogpost HERE.
