This one was a 1h job at worst but the answer is "not much". ;)

 :o
An hour!
Bloody hell, man, you ARE a machine.

Didn't know about the existence of space pack mule (spamule?), great mini Mason!

He was in the last Outlanders KS as a taster for later.
I have already finished two more 'Young Noif' with variant loads that go off for casting this week, while there will be some adults later.

OK, so with the recents on Cadia, my good friend Cheetor/Sho3box thought it would be cool to celebrate all that with painted models !
Here's my contribution to this rememberance effort with a Cadian officer :

In gaming terms, since I don't have any army to go with him (and don't really intend to), he'll be a space fleet officer when naval fights come at close quarters.

Man, you got the perfect sense of stiffness from this model. Look at his face! I think you nailed it.

On quite another tone, here's a space cashier I finished after it was started by our good friend Cheetor/Sho3box for a game we had last year. She didn't make it in the game but had to get finished somehow right ?

Honestly not my greatest paintjob, I have to admit I was a bit helpless about picking the job where it was left as I had the proof we don't do things the same way (painting wise), quite fun even if frustrating if I may say.

Here's the start of something a little new to me. With very little originality, I've decided to do a little Grimdark challenge with friends and so this is the start of my new inquisitorial band !
You can see I'm not exactly going down the real crazy path but I hope to achieve something a bit different from my usual output !

More about her in the blogpost, I'll post the band as it grows, one member at the time !

Wow! Love the way you've worked the grime and wear into her outfit.

I thought that a bare head would improve the model, and here's the proof. Absolutely great job!!

Wonderful colour choices and very subtle conversion combine to make a great, characterful figure.
She's a good 'un!

That bare head makes a big difference to the model. Really nice work.

Cheers all, it seems I was not the only one looking for something else than the Van Helsing head ^^.
The second member of the band is well advanced so I might get it done for this WE !

What's your recipe for the black armour?

Cheers ! I've wrote a tutorial for the black armour here. After that I just weathered the armour with juices of leather brown paint thinned to the max till the point where you can see pigments seperating , take a brush and don't load it too much and apply this juice in the recesses and around rivets. You can repeat the operation with increasing light colours (cadmium red or even orange) until you're happy with it, it's quick and easy and provides a good alternative to dry pigments.

Very cool.  I've picked this miniature up and was thinking about removing the hat; I'm glad to see how much better it makes her, I'll have to keep my eyes open for a suitable head.
