Very nice and those look like lovely figures. Proper kit too, no metal gas mask canisters.

Tin hats should be field grey (Apple Green) for early war, strictly speaking but the blue grey does look good and it seems to be a time honoured wargaming convention.

So much good stuff!

The 15 field kitchens is bonkers! I’ve not seen the lorry version before, just the horse drawn one.

I do like the FJ, very nice work.

Great job on the Fallschirmjaegers!
Yeah, with this amount of filed kitchens none of these 1/72 chaps will be left hungry.

Yeah, a bit of artistic liscence, I know the colour should be green, but grey looks better, and you see it so much, it’s accepted.

 Hi guys

Part 1 of the 4D puzzles 1/72 Sdkfz 7 build, as previously suspected, from everything I can tell, this is actually a mislabeled Sdkfz 8, which is how I am proceeding with the project, for those wanting to build a display quality model of an sdkfz 8, I would go with the trumpeters version, however for war gamers or those not to concerned with an overly detailed model, then the price of this one makes it a good option.

There’s probably a lot I could do to improve the look of this model, I’d probably start by 3D printing replacement running gear, but I’m going to build it as is and add a bit of detail to improve it.

Interestingly this model snaps together, which is quite handy, because you can build it, then decide what you are going to replace, easily remove the part and work on it, so far, I have replaced to headlights, added the guide rods on the front fenders, pined the tracks into a more realistic slag, re shaped the stowage cage, filled a couple of holes and added stowage and crew. Then washed the model, I’ll let it dry over night and undercoat it. The one part I have left off so far is the dash and windscreen, I’m tossing up whether to model it up with the clear part or model it folded down with a cover. I have to say, despite the initial confusion caused by the mislabeling, it builds into a cheap but decent sdkfz 8.

 Hi guys

The other half of the 1/72 Norwegian WWII commission, using NicolasRC’s from Cults3D’s lovely Norwegian figures, bases just have a simple base coat and will be decorated by the customer. This isn’t the full range of poses, just the poses the customer wanted.

Nice! So many more posing options than those of us with 28mm collections.

Are those guns modelled at full recoil? Or as they spiking the guns by firing them with all the fluid in the buffer tube fully drained?

 Hi guys

Nearly finished this 4D Puzzle models Sdkfz 8 (mislabeled as an sdkfz 7) it’s turning out fairly nice for a wargaming model, display modellers would want to refine some details, replace the front road wheels, replace the rubber tracks, maybe replace the rifles and rifle racks, they are a bit chunky.

I’ve modelled the windscreen folded down and covered using tissue and white glue, I’ve had the extend the windscreen down the bonnet, as there was a hole cast in the middle of the bonnet, with patience you could fill the hole, it’s a little harder than it sounds as there is also the line that runs down the middle, I didn’t have the patience, so I did a basic fill and covered it.

I just need to paint a couple more details, do a little more weathering, mount the figs, put it on a base and I’m done.

The figures are all 3D printed.

Hi guys

The Sdkfz 8 finished, I’ll add a base to it at some stage, I found a nice little model of the Temp Vidal G1200 from wargaming 3D, I’d never heard of this car so did some research, seems it was before its time technology wise, but was under powered, so was turned down by the Heer, however it was picked up by the Kriegsmarine, Luftwaffe and SS, I plan on doing a Kriegsmarine force soon (shore party) I’ll research as to whether the Luftwaffe field divisions or Fallschirmjäger ended up with any of these and will go from there, so I printed off 3 in anticipation, it’s a cool looking car, so thought I would share.

 Hi guys

I’ve grabbed a random selection of models in various states of completion to work on next, 2 x Latil M7 command cars, 1 each for my French and 21st PD, 2 x Laffly V15, 1 each for my French and 21st PD, for the 21st PD, 2 x 7.5cm Pak 40 Ausf 39H(f), and 2x U304 (f) 2cm flak38, and non specific German units Kfz 19 radio truck, 2 x Marder Is, and an 88 for the Sdkfz 8, I’ll assign these to projects later.
