The sculpts look great. I love a good 'fro. All you need is a good Pam Grier or Angela Davis figure. Will these match the Copplestone figures btw?

Awesome! A Pam Grier figure with a double barrelled shotgun would be fabulous!

Brilliant figs Iain! :o :o :o

I might be worth posting on the Crooked Dice Forum too? Those figs would be cracking for 7TV games.

I like the idea, but I'm trying to conceive in my head 'the game' that they would be used for. The obvious one would be similar to Mordheim/Necromunda in its context... so gang on gang encounters.

I'm thinking more along the lines of Pulp Alley (with its 'leagues') in a similar way, but for that cops (as a league) and folk like Shaft, Cleopatra Jones, Popeye Doyle et al, are going to be essential for that.

Obviously these and the Crooked Dice range are going to have wide crossover appeal. Can you dig it?

Hey guys thank for the nice comments. The range will be a 28mm skirmish street gang game set in 1970s New York. It will take its influence from the music, movies and the Subcultures of the period to provide some awesome looking gangs.

Currently we have a number of miniatures sculpted with more on the way. I'm also working on a rule set to accompany the range that will give the feel for being a gang on the mean streets of New York in the 70s.

There will be a Kick Starter to complete the range of around 40 miniatures that will be sculpted by some of the best sculptors in the hobby.

I need to keep working on the rules and be more comfortable with them to then launch the range. So play testers may be required.

The plan is for 4 gangs of 8 to start with the KS and a load of stretch Goals. The 4 intial Gangs will be bunch of guys in leathers from South Brooklyn, a Baseball Gang from the Riverside, a Black Kung Fu gang from the Bronx and a mixed Race Skinhead gang. A female gang is on the drawing board too :)

Shouldn't the guys in leathers be from Greenwich Village or maybe the East Village rather than South Bronx?  Same for the Indian, the motorcycle cop and the construction worker. I see an expansion module allowing people to game the Stonewall Riots.

Haha now that would be a gang and half. A Blue Oyster Bar Crew is another option. The South Brooklyn gang in leather vests will come from Coney Island :)

The gangs can be from where ever you want though. The rules will have a few different campaign maps that you can fight over areas of New York. I don't have any of the Copplestone figures apart from the Troopers. Ill try and get a comparison done for them.

The first set of sculpts are going off to the caster soon so i can get some of them painted up.
