Mine arrived just before Christmas - it's sweet! It comes in two pieces not counting the eyes. The hands and the brazier are separate.

I just noticed that those pics aren't complete - there are some nicely done flames in the brazier on the final model.

So where can I get this dreadful idol?!
The zombie to it's base will be released through Heresy Miniatures but I can't see it there so have I got to contact Muller or this guy from the Otherworld website?

And is it cast from metal or resin? I'd prefer metal because I'm sure I'll mess the painting the first 1 or 2 times.

Go through "Otherworld" on the Frothers site. He commissioned the piece.

Aye! Thanks a bunch! That makes things much easier.  :mrgreen:


I thought this would be a good exercise to practice some lighting-effects (like you can see on the painted figure on frothers or in that auction)...


Prof Witchheimer, will you get the figure, too? Would like to see what you can make out of it.

I´ve never been that much of a Conan fan, but that idol is nifty! BTW, is that the same Paul Muller who used to sculpt for GW back in the 1990s? I think I´ve got some of his sculpts... nice ones.

Never heard that name in relation to GW. What do you think he has sculpted?

I *seem* to recall seeing him in an old UK White Dwarf. He might have done some orcs, IIRC. I´ll have to dig up the issue.
