Fantastic piece of scenery, but even more impressed with your sea and beach.  Can you tell us your secret?

The beach itself is just cheap foam camping mat, which is a surprisingly awesome terrain base as it comes with its own light texture and doesn't hurt knocked down miniatures. The sea is toilet paper, PVA, paint and gloss varnish. Here's a great tutorial:

Really beautiful and inspiring job! I like it!  :-*

The project keeps plodding along, in its fifth year no less...

Couple of Barbary pirate types from Foundry:

And some pieces I printed from the Depths of Savage Atoll KS:

The governor's daughter by Black Scorpion. Lighting on the photo is a bit harsh, but you get the idea.

If you're wondering about the parrot, the mini is a reference to the wonderful Jack of All Trades show.

Great thread! Very impressed with how your Depths of Savage Atoll pieces came out. I won some in an eBay auction and was unsure what result I could get from them but you have shown me they have great potential.

Your terrain is so vibrant and immersive. Lovin’ it!

Thank you for the kind words! The DoSA stuff is really lovely, I'm looking forward to showing more of it later on.

My most recent addition is this 3D printed fountain from Infinite Dimensions Games' Wightwood Abbey set. Happy with how it turned out, and as you can see, it's a sizable piece.

Write-up on the blog.
