The beach itself is just cheap foam camping mat, which is a surprisingly awesome terrain base as it comes with its own light texture and doesn't hurt knocked down miniatures. The sea is toilet paper, PVA, paint and gloss varnish. Here's a great tutorial:

Great thread! Very impressed with how your Depths of Savage Atoll pieces came out. I won some in an eBay auction and was unsure what result I could get from them but you have shown me they have great potential.

My most recent addition is this 3D printed fountain from Infinite Dimensions Games' Wightwood Abbey set. Happy with how it turned out, and as you can see, it's a sizable piece.
