Star Wars minis Where?

Hello all

After seing these lovelly posts of Star Wars projects and miniatures i would like a little help please.
Where can i find those WOTC () figures?
Are they 28mm?
Are there other manufacturers with compatible figures?

I would like to get my hands on some stormtroopers and rebels.

a quick google search will help, there are still some sites selling them (http://www.trollandtoad.com/Miniatures/1424.html)  but bear in mind they are now OOP. The new boardgame models are not too different in size.

Got it!!
I have to analise the game Imperial Assault before i buy it.
A bit expensive but the expanding packs are more even.
