Guardians of the Galaxy Starship repaint

We are planning some 28mm Sci Fi boards with that in mind while in Tesco this morning I spotted the Guardians of the Galaxy Ship.
This is what it looks like out of the box.

 

Canopy masked


Painted Grey and shaded




Ammo of Mig panel line wash added



Decals added



Here it is with some 28mm figures and Battle suit



It still needs a coat of varnish just waiting on the decal fix to dry.
Thinking I will paint the transparent part in the front with some Ammo of Mig Crystal Blue

These are the battle suits scaled at 1/35 but I added a 28mm crew figure to the open one to show scale the closed ones don't need anything

A friend is going, but its a little too far me to make the day trip.  Myself and a few buddies are going to another event on in the same venue later in the year though - an Oldhammer thing - so we might meet up then
