Tank Hunter Battlesuit for my USSMC
« on: October 13, 2008, 09:55:39 AM »
Hey folks, went to a convention on Saturday and bought (decently-priced) this little fellow, an old ARES battlesuit from the VOR figure range. I originally wanted to do him as a police unit, but when I discovered the railgun and rocketpod in the box, I switched to the military.

Painted him up to work with my USSMC boarding party (also suitable for use in "Escape vom XYZ City" style games). Of course, a dedicated tank hunter in a predominantly infantry-based environment (Foundry Street Violence) is a bit OTT, but then again, I also have an ED-209. And you could also use him as the center piece for a "Rogue Robot Rampage" game.

Next up: Looters, booze and hookers!

Maybe a little OTT, but then again, he'd be useful for gaining entry to fortified buildings etc and you never know what sort of nasty surprises the bad guys have waiting for you.

Peace through superior firepower ......  lol
