Yes I was quite pleased with the skips, and they are not as difficult to make as I make them sound in the blog.
The village was a slightly odd mix of Germanic and Arabic, but I didn't want to use any unpainted terrain. I think the game benefited from lots of terrain, it made it more tactical, moving forward in cover, especially when there were deadly hobbit-snipers about!
I liked the feel of Flying Lead, the emphasis on characters gives it a much more narrative like feel, more in the spirit of Rogue Trader etc, I thought.
