Building NOVAC (Fallout table + gangs for TnT)
« on: 23 May 2015, 05:18:01 AM »
For a hobby project with the goal of putting on games (of This Is Not A Test) at Penny Arcade Australia in November this year, I'm building a table based on the Fallout: New Vegas town of Novac

Mike at Battlefield Accessories has agreed to laser all of the buildings u for me. Visit his great work at https://www.facebook.com/groups/157492420754/?fref=ts

Thus far, I have submitted a pattern for the sign which he test cut for me- I'll get the lettering done in 2.2mm card instead of 3mm mdf

I have also completed patterns for all of the buildings, Mike will cut them in a few weeks time after his laser has been serviced. There are a few accessory bits missing in these diagrams, and the purple dollies are 25mm D by 32mm H

Let's not forget Dinky!

On the way from eBay, he will need to be modified a bit (and to have a gift shop installed...)

Today I am going to create patterns for the giant thermometer, the fuel station awning and sign, and some accessory bits- reception desk, maybe shelving bits.

Wow, that is going to be awesome.  :o  Are the buildings going to be for sale to the rest of us schmucks, or would that pose a copyright issue?

The buildings are probably OK, or variations of them. But I'd say not the signs etc. Mike is welcome to make them available or modifications thereafter when the table is built.

I had my first TnT game today- great game even though I did not win!

Awesome project! Can't wait to see more.

Out of curiosity how big is the Dino compared to a 28mm figure?

Definitely needs a blood-stained rock.

If you'd like an apocalyptic monster in 28mm, throw me a PM and I'll think it over.

Wow, he's a big one!

Are you doing the figures for the game too or is this to be a group effort?
