More VSF offerings - UPDATE
« on: October 14, 2008, 03:55:16 PM »
As we seem to be on a roll with VSF postings I thought I'd update you with my latest VSF offerings. The 28mm collection is coming along at a pinfully slow pace but I'm getting there! Anyway, I hope you enjoy the gallery:

For some reason the thumbnail of the Grenadier Guards has managed to mix itself in with the Prussians, Misplaced miniatures can be a bit inflexible sometimes.

Grenadier Guards look PARTICULARLY FINE !

I resisted buying 'em before, but your photos substantially weaken my resolve.

Looking forward to forming the thin red line next to these chaps to repel those wretched foreigners. ;)

Thanks chaps! Too kind, too kind.

I've just noticed some pictures have disappeared from the gallery so I'll update it tomorrow.

And there was me thinking they all had very limp wrists and you had had the pin vice and florists wire to correct them.

(can you use had had?)

Very nice guards. I ummed and argghed over them at Derby recently but didn't buckle in the end. They look spot on and remind me of the Timpo ones I had as a kid but for some reason I want the busby's to be much rougher - would that be another regiment/period/figment of my imagination?

Again, cracking stuff.

again very nice thunderchicken.

I like very much the minis name Prussian marines.

if you want some more variety in your army, you may use some jagers paint them in dark blue uniform and name them as "marines". The actual prussian marine infantry / seebatallions did wear a similar uniform. [as VSF you may also use other colour schemes to suit your purposes]

Hi chaps,

Thanks for the kind words. I've updated the gallery and added the images that were missing. You'll find them at the bottom of the page.
